073 Applied to a large piece of arable ground situated immediately north of Kildonnan and east of Crois Bheag in the island of Eigg. There is a tradition that there was a Cross somewhere at the north west end of this field the site of which cannot be identified now. The field now goes under the name of "Crois Mhòr" as being the larger in Contra distinction of "Crois Bheag" the little field. Prop. [Property] of Norman Macpherson Esq. Eigg. Sig.
