051 This name applies to the remains of an old Chapel said to have been dedicated to "St. [Saint] Congan" (the Patron Saint of Argyle) The foundation is now barely traceable but a number of old persons recollects of the Stones being carried away for erecting walls and dwellings. This is evidently the Site of an old Culdie Chapel, and probably built about the 5 Cent. [Century] No reliable in formation Can be gleaned, than mens belief that this is the spot on which the Church was built.
