028 This name is applied to the remains of what is supposed to be an ancient fort, it is built of very large blocks of stones forming a circle, the wall which is all that remain[s] is about 9 ft. thick & stands about 12 ft. high. It is situated on a prominent Knoll adjacent to the County road about ½ mile N.W. [North West] from the small hamlet called Struanmor. The name signifies "Little Fort".

028 Is applied to a prominent Knoll situate about ¼ mile N. [North] from the above. On the summit of this hill there is what seems to be the remains of an ancient building something similar to the above but it has been much larger and not so strong. the foundation of the wall can scarcely be traced. It measures about 3 chains in diameter. Means "Big Fort"
