017 This name signifies "Fingal's Kettle" and applies to what appears to have been a stone Circle about five yards in diameter, there are three stones standing & three lying the former about 3 feet six inches high two feet broad, and one foot in thickness, those lying are of similar dimensions.

017 Applies to the remains of an ancient dwelling commonly spoken of by the inhabitants as " Pict's House" and situated about one half mile north of " Clett Nisabost". It is said to have been explored by Capt. [Captain] Thomas. R. N. [Royal Navy] about A.D. 1860.
The entrance is now closed up and a few slabs of stone protrude through an accumulation of sand overgrown with bent, there are several small heaps of stones & earth known as Tumuli in the vicinity of the above object.
