005 The site of this castle is on a small cultivated Knoll in a field near Wester Dalzell farm house When standing, it was occupied by the Ogilvies, and was destroyed by the Clan McIntosh about 130 years ago There is no vestiges of it now above ground, but the plough occasionally turns up stones and pieces of lime. It is on the Earl of Moray's property Its name cannot be ascertained

There is no history or local tradition to say why it bears this name It is gaelic and which means Knoll of the Fairy It is on the property of the Earl of Moray
