012 These works are situated on the east bank of the river about a mile south of Inverness. They were established here about 30 years ago at the same time as the Reservoir with which they are connected. At that time the motive power was water only but about 10 years subsequently steam was substituted. Property of the Inverness Gas and Water Company.
