019 Applies to the site of an old castle situated upon a narrow stripe of land between Loch Dochfour and Abban Water, there is a tradition in the district that the Loch was pasable by a ford at this point and that the Castle was used as a stronghold for the purpose of exacting tribute upon all good or cattle which might have occassion to Cross. It is the property of the Caladonian Canal Company.
