various | The parish of Glenelg is in the Presbytery of Lochcarron and Synod of Glenelg It is bounded on the north and north east by the parish of Glenelg in Ross-shire; on the extreme North East by the parish of Urquhart and Glenmoriston; on the east by the parish of Kilmonivaig and that part of the parish of Kilmallie in the county of Inverness; on the south principally by Loch Morar, which separates the parish of Ardnamurchan from this parish; and on the West by the Sounnd of Sleat. There are no detached portions of this parish in the 6th Division Work, and there are no detached portions of any other parish within the portion of this parish done by the 6th Division. |
