It passes through the most fertile part of Strathspey from which district it derives its name. Three trains run daily on it both ways, the first starting from Abernethy by which both passengers and goods are conveyed. It possesses Electric Telegraph communication. This Railway is now extended to Boat of Garten Station, at which it forms a Junction with the Highland Railway. |
