Note on page - The Parish of Dores is in two separate parts one of which is Detached. The greater part or main body of the parish contains the Church and Village of Dores, the detached portion lies on the south east bank of Loch Ness and is situated within the parish of Boleskin and Abertarff in sheet 54. A detached part of the parish of Boleskine and Abertarff lies between the parishes of Dores (Proper) and Daviot and Dunlichity in Sheet 42
