020 | This is a small stone circle situated at the end of one of the office houses of Croftcroy. It forms a complete circle, and is composed of 16 stones, 13 of which are standing, and average about 2 feet high, the remainder are lying, and partly broken, there is a narrow passage, composed of upright stones, about a foot high, which curves when near the centre, and which nearly divides the circle into two equal parts, many of the standing stones have large pieces broken off, and it is said that stones have been taken out of the circle to build some of the houses near, It is on the Estate of Captain McIntosh of Farr |
