020 | This name applies to what is locally believed to be a Druidical temple. It consists of two stone circles about 20 feet apart; the inner one is about 70 feet in diameter formed of rude stone boulders about 2 feet high and so close to each other that it looks like a fence; the outer circle consists of 10 upright stones about 4 feet high and with exception of one large stone at the south-west which is a remarkable object; they are all about the same size and shape but not equidistant; the large stone is about 10 feet high and about the same in width at the base and drawing to a sharp point at the top in shape slab like and seen at a long distance. |
