custom of the natives of the locality to omit the 'Am' when speaking of the hill.
I have consulted Mr. Evan Murray the clerk of this Division, a Gaelic Scholar, he says "Am Fros-bheinn" is perfectly correct, grammatically, the "Am" may however be omittedif desired.
I forward also a statement from Mr N. Bartlett on the subject of this name, he examined this hill & collected the names - Mr McIntosh was consulted as to the spelling of this name.

The correction has been made on Sheet 148, Inverness, and on one inch at [revising] 61D of Scotland. will you please have the correction carried out on the Copper Plates. - It will also be necessary to make the alteration showing on the S. margin of Sheet 149, 6 inch scale.
