The name extends from the boundary between the Counties of Banff and Elgin on the south; to the farms of Lurg, Ellon, and Lynbreck, and thence along the boundary between Elgin and Inverness to the Bridge of Brown on the north; and from the Burn of Brown on the east, to the farms of Ellon and Lynbreck on the west. All on the estate of the Earl of Seafield. |
