Note. A question relative to the spelling of the name Ballutheron or Balluderon was
refered to the ground and the following answer was returned by the Field Examiner (Sapper
Clegg)
"Ballutheron is the original spelling and is still used by the less intelligent people. The
proper spelling is Balluderon, for this spelling the authorities are Title Deeds of South
Balluderon Estate, Lease of North Balluderon farm, &c.".
