See Law of Balgillo for other quotations respecting the Laws of this Ph. [Parish] The Law of Balduckie has been entirely effaced. This Law is upon the farm of Meikle Coul in a field called West Bank. The Law or Tumulus is, although ploughed over, very remarkable and still regular, being about 10 or 15 feet high. There is nothing known among the people of the place - or in the Parish so far as could be ascertained of Urns or Stone Coffins being found here. The hillock appears to have never been opened. |
