018 | A stream which rises from the Corrie on the East of the Dog Hillock & flows to the Noran which it joins at the old places of Burnroot. (Trace 15) The principal stream flowing into it is the Toardy which rises near the same place but with a ridge of hill (Duthriss Hill) between their sources. Trusty Burn appears to be analogous with the Trusta houses in the East, in Fearn, but their orthography as adopted by the separate proprietors differs at present time. |
