032 A small bridge or Culvert over a burn of the same name. Kings Bridge & Kings Burn derive their names, as stated by Mr. Wilkie, from the King loosing himself while hunting in Hatton Forest, and having met a Peasant at the Burn, where the little bridge is now erected, he inquired his way. According to the tradition the Burn has since borne this name - The Bridge name is mostly used, or better known of the two but both should be adopted in this case.
