With respect to this antiquity
I have consulted all the
old men in the parish
whom I could by enquiry
or accident fall in
with. They could give
me no information
respecting it, only that
two or three arches about
40 years ago were to be
seen within the foundations
of the building, which are
now away
Mr. Mitchel, gardener at
the Panmure gardens told
me that he heard Lord
