This detached portion of the parish of Dundee is surrounded by the parish of Murroes with the exception of the North West where it is bounded by Tealing. It is divided from the parish of Dundee proper by a narrow neck of murroes parish about 1 1/2 chains broad. There is one mansion house, viz. Duntrune House, the property and residence of Miss Graham.
