[Baronet] of Kilmaron was erected by 16,731 Subscribers in grateful acknowledgement of the gift of this Park to the People of Dundee by him and his Sisters Eleanor and Miss Mary Baxter who in affectionate remembrance of their late Father William Baxter Esqr. of Balgarvies, have desired that this name be associated with this gift.
