A small plainly built structure surrounded by a high stone wall situated off the North side of the Lochee Road at the West End of the Barracks. It was erected by the Police Commissioners of Dundee and is under their supervision used as a Powder Magazine by the Ironmongers & others for depositing their stores of Powder in. It is surrounded at some distance also by a hoarding for precaution against accidents &c. |
