035 A fine mansion with Ornamental grounds & garden. The offices at the "Mains of Dunniald" which is occupied by the proprietor's brother Mr. H Arkley Factor. There are a few artificial mounds about this mansion but they are ornamental mounds. In the Memorials of Angus & Mearns this house is spoken of as a Castle. It is not so called by the Propr. [Proprietor] who upon the authority of Mr Arkley always calls it Dunninald Ho. [House] ; Mr P Arkley is Proprietor
