033 | A little hillock in a plantation belonging to Pitkennedy. It is evidently artificial but there is no information to be had of its origin. The Name is known for miles round, Part of the south-west side of the mount is broken shewing numbers of large stones which have a somewhat regular appearance. The rest of it is covered with turf mould and the height above the ground it stands upon is 15 or 20 feet, terminating at the top like a Cone. |
