The ruins of a Small Church, a portion of the Walls of which is still standing. Surrounded by a graveyard where the inhabitants of the adjacent neighbourhood Still Continue to bury their dead, nothing farther is known about it either historical or traditional than it was prior to the reformation one of two Chapelries belonging the Parish of Wemyss, period. W.H. Smyth Parish Schoolmaster Leven states that this "Was a chapel previous to the Reformation but after that event it became the parish church of Methill which then formed a separate parish, When the village was in a flourishing condition, it has long since been united."

Note - Burn Mill to be written two words on Plan as in the name of this mill It is evidently incorrect to write it as one word
