Peter & Co. from Admiral Wemyss of Wemyss Castle. The whole is known by the name of Kirkland Works.

A good farm house and offices with about 138 Scotch Acres attached, there is a thrashing Machine on the premises propelled by a Steam engine of 5 horse power; it is the property of Admiral Wemyss of Wemyss Castle and Occupied by Mr. Andrew Lawrie the cause of the word farm being applied to it by the Factor, Occupier and inhabitants is to make a distinction between it and Kirkland Works &c.

In Description of Kirkland Works: not sure about the word - overseer. The final sentence is written in a different hand.
