It is a large edifice in the gothic style of architecture, erected in 1817 and in 1826 there was taken into this new building an aisle belonging to the old church which supported the apses and bears the date 1623 - It contains upwards of 800 Sittings . Sibbald in his History of Fife says the old Church belonged to the nunnery of North Berwick_ |
