A parish in Fifeshire, at the southern base of the Lomond hills, between there and the river Leven, which traverses its Southern boundary, dividing it from Kinglassie. Its length from East to West is nearly 5 miles, its breadth about 2 miles. It is bounded on the South by the parish of Kinglassie on the East by Markinch on the North by Falkland, and on the West by Portmoak. It is in general throughout tolerably cultivated, and well diversified with enclosed fields and plantations etc. It has the Village of Leslie, and Some few Antiquities etc. No part of this is situated within any other parish or no part of any other parish is Situated within Leslie.
