18 T.5. 21 D.

The present Glebe and Church yard which are situated in the Parish of Tullibole, were purchased, and a New Church and manse were built, in a situation more [centrical] to both parishes. Old Stat. Acct. [Old Statistical Account] "Both Fossaway and Tullibole were anciently in the diocese of Dunblane; and they seem to have consolidated into one parish about the year 1614. For a considerable period after they were united, the churches of both were used, the minister officiating two Sabbaths in that of Fossaway and one Sabbath in that of Tullibole. But in 1729 both were thrown down and a new church built for the united parish" Full. [Fullerton's] Gazetteer
