026 A small knoll or eminence of artificial construction on the estate of Kilconquhar. it is of an oval shape and rises in the centre to about 12ft above the Surrounding Surface. it is covered with wood save on the top, on which there was formerly a wooden chair or seat fixed and a small avenue or foot road led to it from the mansion house of Kilconquhar the foot road & seat have long since disappeared, both as well as this artificial eminence were constructed by a former proprietor.
