An inlet of the German Ocean in which are several rocky Islands - It is Navigable as far as Alloa - The River Forth discharges itself into this Firth - hence the name - The Coast through this Plan is in part Rocky and part flat - and the shore between High and Low Water is a mixture of Sand Mud and loose Rocks with Several patches of low shelving rocks, all covered at High Water
