This Bay is nearly always covered with Peat Moss, which is thrown into the Frith at Blair Drummond and carried along coast by the ebb tides; there is much seaweed also; both the Moss and Seaweed are collected by the Farmer adj [Adjacent] the coast which they use as manure on the heavy clay land. |
