A small square tower on the shore of the Firth of Forth, the tower is in ruins and on the West and North sides is surrounded by the remains of a strong outer wall.
I have made every enquiry with regard to the date of its origin and purpose, but without success. There is no tradition of it in the neigbourhood here and no notice of it that throws any light on this in any of Histories of the place
