015 [situation] Forming the boundary between Perth & Fife.
A burn or stream which rises north of the Plains in Perthshire, about 2 1/2 miles West of Damhead, between its source and the bridge of Damhead it is narrow, widening as it proceeds in its course to Glenfarg from the last named place, there is a Glen along this river for a considerable distance commencing at or about 14 chains North of Paris Bridge to the Bridge North of the Bein Inn, the sides of this glen are planted in some places and generally very steep, the Great North Road passes through the Glen. This river forms a junction with the Earn West of the Firth of Tay.
