An extensive range of hills lying east & west & extending along the whole of the northern part of Kinrossshire. A portion of the range is Moorland but the principal part affords pasturage for Cattle & sheep, some of the features in the range are of considerable elevation, the loftiest is said to be 1100 feet above the level of the sea.
