This river rises in the Western part of Fifeshire, receiving several small streams on its course eastward. It passes the town of Cupar on the north, receives the Ceres Burn between Kemback and Dairsie Bridges, and the estuary formed by its falling into the sea is called Eden Mouth. It is not navigable.
