Robert Scott Kemback James Bell Lydox Mill |
011 | [situation] About 10 chains N.W. [North West] from Kemback House. A small grave yard in the demesne lands attached to Kemback house. It is enclosed by an old broken fence and is now covered over with mixed wood. there is only one tomb stone to be seen in it, and on this the figure of a woman is rudely carved. there is no date or other inscription on it. it has evidently been long disused as a burying ground. but there is no local knowledge of the date or probable period. |
