21 Parish of Cupar Plan 11A Trace No. 3Transcriber's notes
[Interesting Deleted Remarks for "Bondfield"] A district now Inclosed and divided into several fields, but was formerly what is called an open-field. Mr. Douglas, in whose possession are the Title deeds of several Estates in this locality, does not know why it is so called; in old records he says that it is sometimes written Bonefield, but he recommends Bondfield as the mode used for the last 200 years.Transcribers who have contributed to this page.
