A small hill of arable and wooded surface on the farms of Dalgairn, Kingask and Middlefield it is of oval shape and a Trignl. [Trigonometrical] Station on its summit is called by Trignl. [Trigonometrical] Party "Kingask". This hill is locally said to have been a favourite resort of James VI [6th] for "Hawking" on when in this vicinity on hunting expeditions during his residence at Falkland Palace.
