A small village composed of houses one and two stories high; all in good repair, with gardens attached. There is one smithy, two wright shop, and one grocer's shop, and a Brick and Tile Work. The inhabitants are composed of weavers, agricultural laborers, quarrymen etc. The village is feued from Mrs. Craigie Ferrybank and Mr. Moon Clushgreen.
