A small knowe at the south side of North Grange so called from its having been the place where the Teinds were collected. The stone where the flagstaff was placed on Teind days was removed only a few years since.

A small portion of land nearly surrounded by Lindores Loch, it is bounded on the west side by a drain near which is a small house wherein the curling stones are kept.

A neat house erected in 1840 in the Eizabethan style; it has a garden & glebe attached, and is in excellent condition. The Rev'd [Reverend] Mr. Duncan is the Incumbent, whose stipend, which is all in grain is 128 Bolls of Barley, & 128 Bolls of Oatmeal; together with £10.2.2 Vicarage dues & £8.6.8 for Communion Elements.
