A strong and firmly built Stone pier projecting from the high to Low Water mark on the laft side of the river Tay It was built by the government as a place of landing and departure for a ferry boat. across the river Tay. at this point. and is still used exclusively for. the same but it is now the property of the Midland Railway Company.
