016 | [situation] About 10 chains N.E. [Northeast] of Glenvale farm house. About 30 years ago a number of Battle axes, Spearheads etc were turned up by the plough near a well (which is now filled up) on the farm of Wester Gospetry, the present tenant Mr. Todd is not aware what became of them. |

36 [No header][Note:] "Colonel Miller in his Archaeologia Scotica thus describes the articles found:- ' At (K) (reference on his map) about 7 years ago 18 or 20 Battle-axes and Spearheads or javelins were found together in a bog. on the lands of Gospetrie all of bronze. The spears or javelins, whichever they may have been, are small, with a socket for the handle. Several stone battle hammers have also been found in the same field.
