Note: It may be as well to mention that on the County Map of Fife & Kinross the name Tarfdivist appears near Meralsford on making enquiry it appears that near the Barley Mill peat or the Turf Surface used to be Cut for Roofing houses hence Turf Divit Corrupted to Tarf Divist the name is now unknown
