These cottages have been occasionally styled Fordell Cottages on account of being on the estate or farm of Fordell and the proprietor in his return lately forwarded to the authorities styled them North Pendicle Glenfarg but recently he has considered the name now given the most appropriate as well as the other authorities supplied. |
