019 Parish of Carnbee. A small neat stone building in good repair erected by the heritors of the Parish and used as a Parish School house. There is an appointed teacher to receiving the maximum Salary besides scholars fees. There is an average attendance of about 60 scholars.

019 Parish of Carnbee. A small stone building in good repair and used as a Parish church. It affords accomodation for 500 sittings [The present incumbent is the Reverend Anstruther Taylor- Deleted] It was built about the year 1793 on the site of what was formerly a Roman Catholic chapel and belonged to the Abbey of Dunfermline. Nothing is locally known of the date of the erection of the former save that from the reformation it was used as a Parish Church until the present one was built. It is surrounded by a small enclosed burying ground.
