019 | [situation] At the East side of Carnbee Village. A small stone building containing about 500 sittings and surrounded by a graveyard. it was built about the year 1793 on the site of what was formerly a Roman Catholic place of worship. There is nothing known concerning the date of the erection of the former parish church but it is supposed to be of high antiquity. |
