It is divided into several small tenements each known by the given name. there is in all 16 or 17 dwelling houses on it, in detached ones, and in rows of two & three. Some of them are slated and in good repair, others of them are roofed with tiles or thatched and some of these last named are in bad repair. each of them have a small piece of garden ground attached to them and others of them in addition to the same have crofts of from 5 to 20 acres of the above tract of ground attached to them the occupiers of them are Labourers and Colliers. |
