019 | [situation] On the road leading Northward from Largo Ward. A small plain stone building erected by Subscription and used as a United Presbyterian Church. it was built in 1823 and was thoroughly repaired in 1830 and a small belfry was put on to it on which is the date 1830 it was at the same time fitted up with gallerys which have been since taken away. It has an accommodation of 300 sittings the average Congregation attending it is about 200. The present incumbent is the Revd. [Reverend] Mr. Henderson there is a Manse adjoining it. |
