019 | [situation] North of Largo Ward. A tract of about 700 Acres of Arable ground the property in trust of Miss McRitchie of Edinburgh. The farm of Higham and the March of Lathones forms a part of it. 30 acres of it is rented by Mr. Galloway farmer of Bowhill there are three small dwelling houses on it to which small crofts of 5, twenty and 30 acres of it are attached four fues are also held off it by different other persons, and on each of these dwelling houses are built - these are from one to two storys high generally all in good repair etc. the largest aggregate of the land is held in hand by the proprietor - there is a U.P. [United Presbyterian] Church & Manse on it. |
